This unique black wool dress was designed by Oscar de la Renta for his Fall 2010 collection. This lovely evening dress is so much prettier in person because unfortunately, it's always difficult to capture the unique elements of black dresses in photos.

The body of this great dress is a luxe black wool and it has amazing raw silk edges with cotton sparkle fringe trim. The collar is a deep v-neck with a chelsea collar and the sleeves are elbow length, depending on height. The skirt of the dress is pleated from the hips down with box pleats that are separated by pretty sheer black silk panels.

The dress closes with a center back seam metal zipper and a hook and eye and it is completely lined in silk. The style number is 8N682 and it was made in Italy. The shell of the dress is made of 100% Wool, the trim is 39% Cotton, 10% Acetate, 20% Nylon, 16% Ramie and 9% Polyester, with 100% Silk lining.

Labeled size 8, and we estimate this would best fit a modern size 8 as well.
